Reflective Thinking ~ Which of these feelings speak to you the loudest?

Reflective Thinking is a self-care strategy.

You can start your journey by narrowing down your focus.  Decide on your biggest struggle.  When you narrow down what stresses you the most, you can focus your thinking in order to find a solution and get relief.  Be open and honest with yourself.

With that in mind, when you think about your teaching life, which of the following statements best summarizes your feelings right now…

  • WHEW!  When will the craziness end?

  • I just want to see my kids because building relationships is super important.

  • I need a structured and normal routine.

  • WOW!  I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone and learned so much!  Now, what?

The following audio clips for each one of the statements here are taken from the podcast episode Creating a Vision for the Educator You Want to Become IS a Self Care Strategy

Listen to each audio clip and view the corresponding Reflective Teacher Think Sheet PDF download.  Use this to guide your thinking about your teaching life and your personal professional development.

You will probably be able to relate to each one of the phrases and reflective thinking points but start with the one that speaks to you the loudest!
